In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus describes seeds falling on different types of ground. Some fall on paths or rocky heart-places where the message can’t take hold.
“But the seed falling on GOOD SOIL refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown” – Matthew 13:23
At GOOD SOIL, we believe that every child and adult in our community deserves the chance to be that “good soil.” Many of our neighbors want to know Jesus and be able to teach their children from the bible, but they simply don’t know where to start, are embarrassed to ask or lack the environment needed to grow.
